High school seems like it was yesterday and million years ago all at the same time. While you are in high school life seems so busy, hectic, stressful and dramatic. Boy, if only we knew what real life would bring right? We meet people, claim they will be our friends for ever and then somehow part ways as the years go by. The great thing is they almost always seem to show up again sometime down the road! It has been so wonderful reconnecting with people through my photography business. Jordan and Stacy inquired about hiring me to photograph their beautiful new son without knowing that I was the same Stephanie who went to school with Jordan (it is amazing how anonymous a married last name can make a girl!). I’m so glad that they hired me—it was great catch up with Jordan and meet his fantastic little family. Pulling up the driveway to his parent’s house where we shot the session brought up distant memories of driving to school in my old diesel truck. Jordan’s house was on the way to school and we’d always bump into each other on the way—he’d be in his shiny hot rod and I’d be cruising along blowing out black exhaust and rockin’ out to some mixed tape of country music. Ahh, those were the days!

While high school was fun, something tells me that Jordan and Stacy are having even more fun with their sweet little boy Kohen! How could you not enjoy life when you get to share it with someone so precious and adorable! Thanks so much Stacy and Jordan for letting me document this important stage of Kohen’s life! I can’t wait until our next session—I can’t get enough of his strawberry blonde hair!
