My heart is heavy today. Over the last few days my sister-in-law experienced a house fire and our neighbors lost their son/brother to a tragic accident that left behind a wife and small children. There has also been so many other heartbreaking events locally, nationally and worldwide.
The only thing I can say is:
Tell your loved ones that you love them. Tell them today, tell them tomorrow and tell them always.
To celebrate my loved ones today here are some of their beautiful faces.
To my husband—my rock, my comforter, my cheerleader, my most patient and loving best friend. You make me laugh like no other and tenderly meet my every need. I love you and I thank you.
To my nieces—you light up my life, you make me rediscover this magnificent world we live in, you make every day a great day. I love you and I thank you.
To my sister—you lead by example, your passion for life and your family is so admirable, you make me a better person. Watching you become the amazing mom you are has made me hope I can grow up to be at least half the woman you are. I love you and I thank you.
To my mom—you single handily taught me compassion and selflessness. You are strong and gentle. Your unconditional love and support has made me the person I am today. I love you and I thank you.
To my dad—you taught me how to listen. How to really, really listen. You listen to me, always. You generously give all that you can give. I strive to be as generous as you are. I love you and I thank you.
To my extended family and in-laws—you make my life special, meaningful and delightful. I love you and I thank you.
To my friends—you splash my life with flavor and festivities. You encourage, support and stand by me. I hope that I can be as good of a friend to you as you are to me. I love you and I thank you.
Stephanie- You are the best sister anyone could possible ever ask for. You are so caring and considerate of everyone around you, you are selfless, and make everyone feel important. You are THE BEST Aunt for my girls, a great example of how to live a Christian life, and loving them completely. It's no wonder T wants to live with you. Thank you for always being there for me, always loving me, and always believing in me. I am SO thankful to have you as my sister, I LOVE YOU!!!!!
