This morning…

Sorry it has been a quiet week around here!  I’ve been busy nursing a concussion and tetanus shot arm.  We’ve also been super busy with the house, designing guest books, fulfilling print orders and shooting sessions.  The house is almost done—I’m way behind in showing pictures, but we’ve got flooring, cabinets and interior doors!  This coming week they will be finishing the septic system, tiling our shower, installing the pine tongue and groove in the living room ceiling and a bunch of other things!  I shot these pictures this morning before an awesome engagement session (can’t wait to show you the pictures from that—coming soon!).  Enjoy!

Mandy - Maternity

Yesterday evening I headed out to Berthusen Park in the glorious sun to photograph Mandy’s maternity session.  We had an awesome time cruising around the park in the toasty sunshine.  Michael and Mandy are expecting a little girl in June and I can not wait to meet her!  Mandy was so cute and up for anything! Thanks so much for letting me hang out with you on your Friday night to capture this exciting time in your life!!  See you in June!

Katy and Anthony - Engagement

This week I had a great time exploring Hovander Park with Katy and Anthony.  We had so much fun checking out all the great locations are the property.  These two were so much fun—up for anything, full of fun and so clearly in love.  A perfect engagement session!

Here are just a few of my favorites—it was hard to narrow them down!  I can’t wait for their wedding this summer—it is bound to be fantastic!  Thanks so much you two—best wishes on your upcoming house purchase!

Leanne – Senior

We braved rain and wind but we had a great time hanging out this week photographing Leanne’s senior pictures!  Leanne is a such a sweet, fun-loving girl with aspirations to pursue photography as a career—how could the session not be awesome!  Thank you so much Leanne for your willingness to to climb wet rocks, trespass on the railroad tracks and face wind and rain with laughter—I think it all paid off!

Here are some of my favorites—it was hard to narrow it down.

Leanne is a cancer survivor with her last chemo treatments being almost a year ago.  How brave and courageous she is!  Best wishes this year at Relay for Life—and way to show cancer who is boss!!

My favorite from the day—I love all the leading lines drawing your eye straight into her!

I’m still trying to figure out how she got her leg up there in the first place and how she got it down without breaking her hip.  I think I would still be stuck up there if I had tried it!

Leanne’s boyfriend joined us for the last few minutes of the session—they were so cute together!

Jessica – Senior

Saturday I had a great time photographing Jessica for her senior pictures!  She even brought her goat—I’ll show you some of those pictures later this week.

Here are some of my favorites from the rest of the session!  Thanks for such a great time Jessica!  I loved how willing you were to try anything—even laying on the concrete!  Best wishes in the rest of your senior year and at the State FFA Convention!!

Jessica was so sweet and beautiful inside and out!  I loved how she let her personality shine through her shoot.
