Landscapes & Details | San Juan Island Photography

The past two weeks I’ve spent quite a bit of time out on San Juan Island.  I had an opportunity to create some images of this gorgeous island in the fall.  I’ve shared some of my landscapes and details below but keep your eyes out for several more posts in the future featuring a giant black tail buck, a curious red fox, Roche Harbor, English Camp and the Friday Harbor Marina.

Jeff & Molly – Wedding | Bellingham Wedding Photographer

This past weekend I had a wonderful time photographing Jeff and Molly’s beautiful wedding at Semiahmoo Resort.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous as was the location.  Thanks so much Molly and Jeff—you two were fabulous!  I had a great time getting to know you and your families!  Check out some of my favorites below—the rest of the images will be up within two weeks.

A special request shot—look at this amazing location!

We didn’t have much time for portraits but we made the most of our limited time and I love the images!  Molly asked for black and whites and I think that processing lent itself very well to the location.

I think this one below is my favorite but I’m having a really hard time deciding…

Jack from Whatcom Sound did an amazing job keeping the music rolling at all three locations of the evening.  A great DJ can really make an event smooth, enjoyable and fun and he did a fantastic job doing just that.

Kristie – Senior Session | Bellingham Senior Photography

This week I had a wonderful time getting to know Kristie at her senior session!  We roamed around Boulevard Park and downtown Fairhaven to get some great images to document her senior year.  Kristie has the most gorgeous green eyes and smile—they just light up her face which made it so easy to get some beautiful shots of her. 

Thanks so much Kristie!  I had a great time hanging out with you!  I hope you to see you this spring—I’d love to have another session with you!  Best wishes on your senior year!

When we got to Fairhaven it was getting quite dark so we played with some interesting lighting around town—this one might be favorite of the day!  I just love the glow coming from the buildings and Kristie’s adorable dress!
